TILE Accelerator: Getting the most from TILE

TILE Accelerator: Getting the most from TILE

Event Date:

Friday, May 8, 2015 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Identifying opportunities and getting the most from TILE personally and professionally is a topic that comes up frequently. TILE instructors who transform a course to teach in a TILE classroom invest a great deal of time and resources. If you are new or experienced TILE instructor, learn from other instructors what are the opportunities for you to make sure you are getting the most out of your time and commitment to innovative teaching.

Accelerators are monthly sessions focusing on specific areas of applied TILE practice, such as enhanced technology training, student assessment and course transformation. Accelerators also provide instructors with one-on-one consulting opportunities with Student Instructional Technology Assistant (SITA) and the Center for Teaching staff.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events.  If you are a person with a disability who requires accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact Office for Teaching, Learning & Technology at megan-mathews@uiowa.edu.
